Zombie Nixon running in 2012

A compendium for the day.

I'm especially fond of the ferret in the little orange jacket (telegraph), the butterfly attacks (qualcom), google's nuclear program, and xkcd's browser-based telnet screen, though I haven't found any of the easter eggs.

And one more from the thread at [livejournal.com profile] filkertom.

Funnier if you know something about Objectivism.

Real person?

At the other end of the internet is a real person.

It's a plea to be kinder and more thoughtful, but I suspect it's better in the short run to be aware that the real person on the other side of your screen could be anywhere on the range from sincere to careless to vicious.

And as for the second example, I expect that some of the men replying are as unclear about their motives as she is.
