Thank you! I just did this, and am about to boost the suggestion on my own blog (DW,LJ). One addition: The EFF page you link to says under Step One:
>> Go to the Shared Endorsements setting page. You can find this page by going to Google Plus and clicking "Settings" in the toolbar on the left. <<

That toolbar only appears when you hover your pointer over the "Home v" button at the left of the tab bar just below the top of the window.
