Right after the big foo-fa-raw over a pile of accounts being purged LJ started getting hit with DDos attacks. They've been rather screwed up since then.

Another friend of mine was affected by the DDoS attacks too. I just had to do everything twice on LJ over the weekend to get anything to stick.
