The trailer felt more Sheckleyish to me....

....crossed with generic hate of The System, but Ellison is suing because he says In Time is too much like " 'Repent, Harlequin', Said the Ticktockman", and I will say the premise is just about identical even if the feel and probably the plot are quite different.

If HE got a settlement for Terminator, DF Jones should have gotten one too, he published the same year about a supercomputer taking over the world with the nukes it was given.

The story doesn't say, but I thought in cases like this it is necessary to prove not just similarity but that someone involved had read the story. That is what HE had with Terminator and GRRM didn't have with Sliders.
