When you consider how hot those things get and how much oil would be involved, it is just too tempting for some sick individual to place a bomb on it someplace and flood the street with boiling hot oil. Oh the humanity!

It could happen, but it doesn't seem especially likely--most people (including terrorists and sick individuals) don't think that much about hazards.
