When I went to Trader Joe's last night, I couldn't find the potstickers. Had a stable feature of my life for some 15 years evaporated? I thought it was one of their best products....

So I checked, and it turned out the company which makes them doesn't exist anymore--I can't remember whether the owner died or retired or what, and oddly, google doesn't have the answer to this crucial question.

In any case, they're working on developing a new source, and they think it will take about three months.

That explains why there have been no veggie ones for weeks at my local one, though they still had plenty of the others last week.

They're definitely going to do their best to have potstickers again--it's one of their best products. I don't know if the new version will be exactly like the old ones, but I'm sure they'll be good.

I'll announce it when I see potstickers at TJs again.

We've had the new ones for at least a month now. They're not quite as good. Sir Muckford won't eat them at all.

trader joes use to carry a thai style of potsticker and a regular one. as stated above tj is looking to find a new supplier of the regular type, so all that is available now is the thai style. hope that helps explain the difference in taste of the current ones in the frozen isle
