Just wondering about something which might turn out to be annoying

Did Republicans make any actual predictions about how the economy would do if Obama got elected?

What I remember is claims that Obama is a socialist. Well, actually, what I remember is claims from the left that people on the right were saying that Obama is a socialist.

And that socialist seemed to include Communist.

This seems like a claim that Obama would do a lot to wreck the economy.

What's actually happened is a very slow recovery.

Did anyone predict that?
