Yay for Sweden!

Sweden grants blanket asylum to Syrian refugees.

I believe that letting refugees live someplace where the society is working well is the simplest and most effective sort of humanitarian aid.

It's by no means a complete solution to disastrous societies, but it's decent and relatively cheap.
