Something I liked from the superbowl

The art directors of the Seattle Art Museum and the Detroit Denver Museum of Art made a bet about who would get a three-month loan of appropriate art.

This scroll is why I'm posting-- I keep enjoying seeing the eagle, which has been designated as sufficiently similar to a seahawk.

The scroll is 5' by 12'!. In other news, the art museum directors aren't good at trash talking.



I tactfully assume the sculpture looks better in person, but I definitely would rather have the eagle.
