Sore throat from Arisia

nancylebovI've got a sore throat, some fever, and occasional mild earaches. Mostly, it hurts to swallow. My voice is pretty much ok (or at least usable), but I'm not pushing it. I'm beginning to think that some of the feeling like crap is from not enough food and water, so I'm going to be more careful about that.
Has anyone else had the same (or similar) crud, and if so, how long did it last? Any recommendations for treatment? Weirdly enough, I've gotten some moderately good results from massaging my ears (a suggestion from _The Healer Within_ by Jahnke--it's just a matter of massaging them until they feel warm and sensitive).
