Search Engine problems
Jun. 22nd, 2004 08:44 amLately, google has been seeming less useful--I don't know if it's just that the staff is distracted by the IPO.
I had a hard time finding Paperandmore to get some marble vellum--a company that used to show up near the top of the results page--and none of the other links specialized in vellum.
Today, when I looked for the Proust Support Group, they were blocked off by Seeq, a search company. Fortunately, I was able to find a link to an article about it.
I wasn't as lucky with the Sandmarathon. It was completely blocked off by a nameless search company, and there didn't seem to be articles about it in English.
Is anyone else having problems with Google? Is there another search engine that you recommend?
