This American Life has an episode about a man tracking down Cisco's hold music, and I found I really liked the hi-res version.

A single rendition of the music will be on the This American Life site for a little while, but youtube has an hour's worth of repetition.

I love these stories where it turns out that an artist has hardcore fans when they never even knew that anyone was paying attention to their work at all. Tim Carleton sounds pretty dubious, but maybe he'll get over it and make an Opus #2 some day.

Also, dear everyone: that genre's called "New Age" and if you like it, there's more where that came from.

Hearing that sent shudders through me. I spent a lot of time listening to that when i was providing support to them. It is pleasant as such goes, thouh it gets old after you hear it enough.
