Geek one-liners from Swarthmore

“Free the quarks!”
“The marginalia I wrote were not for you, they were Fermat.”
“K/S forever!”
“Helo does it with his toaster!”
And more in the link. I understand most of them, but none of them strike me as all that funny, especially "Windows will always come with solitaire."
Am I missing something wonderful?

Date: 2006-11-10 04:30 pm (UTC)"Helo" is the call sign of one of the characters & "toaster" is a Colonial slang term for Cylon.
Any further explanation is rather spoilerish.

Date: 2006-11-15 09:19 am (UTC)Fermat's last theorem, about which there has been a big ruckus to prove, was written in the margin. They were "fer" Matt, for somebody else. OK, little lame.
The windows one sounds more like a dirty joke attempt, with "come" and "solitaire" in it.
