Gay Republicans
Sep. 14th, 2004 12:04 pmHow the Republican party has alienated maybe a million gay voters in order to attract an estimated four million evangelical people who didn't vote last time. (I have no idea how you compute the odds for getting non-voters to show up--it seems as though it would be easier to get votes from people who are already in the habit of voting.)

Date: 2004-09-14 11:43 am (UTC)They aren't going to lose *every* gay who voted for them. They aren't going to get *all* those non-voting evangelicals to vote. They can't tell if they're going to alienate substantial numbers of non-gays.
