Some kids spent 7 years making an adaptation of Raiders of the Lost Ark with no money, just dedication and ingenuity. [livejournal.com profile] theferret makes it sound like tremendous fun.

Unfortunately, it isn't playing anywhere near Philadelphia, but some of you may be able to see it. I can only hope that it will come out of DVD or get played at an sf convention I'm attending.

Note: (For Minnesota screening only): Songbird, a six minute short film by Minneapolis native John Thompson which showed to critical acclaim at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival, will show before Raiders. Please note that some of the Songbird subject matter may be considered inappropriate for children. For those who prefer to watch only Raiders, you will be able to take your seat af ter Songbird has finished.
