Dreamwidth account set-up problem

So, I got a random invite, and started setting up an account. When I got to the second page about my interests (all the fields are optional), I found that [save and continue] button just puts me back on the same page.

Other people manage to set up Dreamwidth accounts. I assume it's just beta-ness rather than being targeted by Murphy, but is there some incredibly obvious thing I'm not seeing?
