Request for a graph program
Nov. 4th, 2010 11:27 pmThis is for someone I know-- he's using excel spreadsheets to make charts of boxes connected by arrows, and the problem is that the process is relatively slow and clumsy. There are mind-mapping programs which are better in that respect, but a crucial feature is that he wants to get beyond tree structures-- any box might have more than one arrow leading into it as well as out of it.
Other than that, color options are good, as are tags and notes, and it would be good to have a graph that could automatically stretch itself if more boxes are crowded into a tight area. That last might be a little much to ask.
