I'd kinda like to see Kucinich as running mate, if only because of why (http://blog.cleveland.com/openers/2008/01/judge_rules_against_kucinich_i.html) I couldn't vote for him.
I don't know if it's obvious at all. I would kind of like to think he's taking time out of the public eye to care for his ailing wife and the rest of his family, who has been through a lot in the last several years.
I'd prefer to think that it's because he doesn't support either of them (with cause; neither of them is really close to a progressive).
He'll make a great Attorney General, though. (I, along with lots of other folks, think Kathleen Sebelius is the likely choice for VP. Among other things, it allows the folks who wanted to vote for a woman to do so, and she's term-limited out of her current office, so she's free to run without folks arguing that she's needed to stay.)
I very much hope that's the case. I'd vastly prefer him as president to either Clinton or Obama, because he's something close to being an actual liberal and neither of them are, and I'd love to see him run as president in '16.
Possibly, but I don't actually think so. He was there once before and I don't know if he finds the role satisfying. I think redaxe has a point about his ideological reluctance to back either Obama or Clinton.
IIRC, he didn't release his delegates, and may be using them as a bargaining chip to steer planks of the party platform his way.
I think he'd be wasted as Veep, since, unlike the current incumbent, neither Clinton or Obama will be looking for someone to do the boring hard stuff for them.
I'd much rather see him as Attorney General or, better yet, as Secretary of Secretary of Health and Human Services, or perhaps Secretary of Housing and Urban Development.
