Saving rejected Wikipedia articles

Material online can seem ephemeral. Here's a welcome example of the opposite. Earlier this year a site called Deletionpedia launched with the sole aim of preserving all the pages deleted from Wikipedia.

Date: 2008-12-27 04:32 pm (UTC)Most delenda are speedy deleted (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:CSD) for being gibberish, or "[my classmate] picks her nose." The rest of the deletion proposals are worth discussing, but these (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Log/2008_December_27) are today's deletion proposals, which mostly fall into spam, garage bands, and stuff that will be kept. My sympathies to Deletionpedia.
