A million years ago I invented a (I thought) clever tshirt slogan and wore it around all the time especially to conventions.

It said "Darth Vader is dead and buried in Arlington Cemetary."

You later started selling buttons of my slogan.. I was INSANELY proud to be the originator of a nancy button slogan.

I've kept track in a small way ever since (and yes I DO own some number of Nancy buttons, but I've had my own button machine since 1987 or so, so I've moved away from waiting and waiting and waiting with my clever comments for whatever convention and hoping to get to you as early as possible Friday so that MY buttons would be finished and picked up on Sunday.)

I was excited when I found you commenting in one of my friend's journals and said "hey it's HER!!!"

(By the way, I've posted about the breakin -- and my brother's comment was that if they didn't get the USB hub's power supply and the printer's USB cable when they were stealing the printer and USB hub, that's why they can't old down real jobs.)

Because you're a friend of mine, and have been for a long time. Also, reading your LiveJournal gives me a better idea of what you're doing and what's on your mind, while also giving me an easy way to chime in with my thoughts if that seems appropriate. Being able to do that is very appealing to me.
