Room share at Arisia

I've got a reservation at the Doubletree (overflow hotel, a mile and a half away). I'd rather be in the main hotel, if anyone's interested in adding me and dcseain.

Alternatively, is anyone interested in room shares at the Doubletree?

No shuttle. I don't know whether mass transit is available.

ah hell. I bought my flights months ago; no idea why I never got around to reserving a hotel room or my badge. if I didn't already have flights I'd probably bail - I've been sick so loong...

Available? Yes. Meaningfully useful? Er....

The "best" set of transit directions that Google Maps will give me involves walking over half a mile to catch a bus that runs once every 40 minutes (which, admittedly, stops right in front of the Westin).

A better bet is to go to Chinatown station on the Orange line, which is close to the hotel if my Mapquest info is right, take the Orange Line to Downtown Crossing, then the Silver Line bus to the World Trade Center station. The walk from there to the hotel is about a quarter mile. The Silver Line is part of the subway fare structure, so the whole trip is one fare, and it's fairly frequent even on weekends, certainly better than every 40 minutes.

Sorry, skipped a step. From Downtown Crossing take the Red Line to South Station, and the Silver Line from there.
