The poll is posted in my livejournal because polls don't get replicated from dw to lj.

Here are the questions, but you'll need to go over there if you want to participate.

Business-- it rewards and facilitates irresponsible greed, but government is controlled by the public
Government-- it rewards and facilitates irresponsible power-lust, but business is controlled by competition
Both business and government, about equally
When major institutions are despised, good people are less likely to go into them
Human societies are made of people
It's complicated (comments welcome)

The real problem, of course, is the whole capitalists system, and how that spawns not only business greed, but plutocracy when the same bourgeoisie that control multinational corporations buy their way into control of governments and individual politicians.

Oh, and BTW, clicky!

NO: your question as posed was "Poll about whether business or governent or what is the problem". IOW, the problem in it's current form.

Before the development of capitalism, and the bourgeoisie, the problem was the landowning aristocracy, and their identity as government and individual politicians.

IOW, the class war started when people invented such things as social/economic classes, and has never really ended, it's just changed forms.

But it is a poll a few places below, so I'll take it there.

I have made several efforts to get dw to not crosspost, but none of them have worked.
