Each lens is made of two layers of plastic, and has a knob to slide one of the layers to adjust the focal length. If you just want a pair for yourself, they're $40.

Interesting... I wonder if they can correct for depth-perception issues as well.

I'm guessing that it would depend on the cause of the depth perception issue-- if it's a matter of one's eyes having really different focal lengths, then the glasses could help. However, I think the glasses come in near-sighted and far-sighted models, so there might not be quite enough flexibility for all cases.

If the depth perception problem is more purely neurological, then other methods might be needed.
