Somehow, this seems off. What's driving grain prices right now is the drought; the price of land shouldn't be an issue for this person unless he just bought more land to increase his herd. Is he feeding his cattle soy, and blaming an increase in the price for that on subsidies rather than on increased demand? (I'm guessing that some farmers are buying more soy because corn is scarcer and more expensive, but that is a guess, I'm not even stopping to google here.)
