Side issues

nancylebovI wanted my previous post to be on the main point so here's some other stuff.
It has come to my attention that the current administration has used a certain amount of libertarian rhetoric. Your ideology looks pretty bad if it falls into the hands of malignant idiots, too. It's not just communism that happens to (though I think communism is a bad idea on anything but the very small, voluntary scale), but in Zimbawe, there's murder and incredible destruction being done in the name of urban renewal and law enforcement--quite ordinary political views. Sound political structure makes good sense and good will easier, but iit doesn't substitute for them.
I know my computer thinks it's 2006. I've tried to correct it by clicking on the time thingy and it looks as though it's corrected, but lj won't let me post unless I alter the time stamp.
