A fast, efficient method of folding t-shirts--pinch in two place, fold, twist, fold remaining sleeve, and it's done. The bits I had to work to notice are that the diagonal fold involves a twist, and it helped to think of my left hand as getting swaddled in the cloth.

Date: 2005-10-24 06:56 pm (UTC)I fold mine like you described, and can also do them in the air. Likewise towels in long thirds, then half twice in the air. After 30 years of laundering, you do acquire a few tricks. (I also threw away all of my hubby's assorted threadbare dress socks, and bought him 8 pairs of new black socks -- all the same style! Got better things to spend my time on than matching black socks, good grief.)
