nancylebovDanceDancePartyParty is women getting together to dance for fun for an hour and a half each week. The rules are no booze, no guys, no judging. and there are ddpp's in a bunch of cities.
The DDPP in Philly (1170 S. Broad (near the Ellsworth-Federal station) 5:00 to 6:30 on Sundays) just got started again.
I was there last night, and it was really pleasant. Seven women in attendance. It's rather like dancing in your kitchen, but with company and with music you might not have heard already. (Anyone who's been there at least once can supply music.) With a little luck, there'll be a post of the music list-- last night had some music I liked quite a bit. I'd like to catch up with that Carribean-sounding spoken word thingy. It wasn't rap and it wasn't reggae.
