nancylebovComparing the skill levels of the Obama and Romney campaigns..... for tolerably obvious reasons, the Romney campaign has relied on marketers and the Obama campaign has relied on social scientists. The social scientists are pulling ahead, though I don't know whether it's that the social scientists are more clueful or the Obama campaign is more serious.
What I do see (assuming that the article is accurate) is that the Obama campaign is behaving as though it has something to protect, and the Romney campaign isn't. When you have something to protect in this sense, you are willing to check on what you're doing, and change your behavior if the evidence suggests that you're wrong.
The Obama campaign may not be as clueful as the article suggests. I keep turning down phone solicitations, but they keep phoning.
