The oldest carpet, some 2500 years old, though I expect there's a long tradition of beautiful carpets that led up to it. The colors are so good because it was frozen.

Eric showed me the carpet photograph. Some crafts are really old.

Roman mosaics are fun. Always lively, often quite representational. I would enjoy having a modern copy of a Roman design in my home (not an original; I'd feel too guilty).
