Yesterday's cloudscape

There was a big storm in other parts of the country, but all Philadelphia got was some rain.

Mid-afternoonish, there was cloud behavior I've never seen before. Around here, it's normal to have clouds you can just barely see move if you pay attention for 5 seconds or so. If we get the edge of a hurricane, you can see movement without trying, and the fast moving clouds tend to be pretty high.

Yesterday, it was like a special effect-- huge, low, fast-moving clouds. Anyone else see unusual clouds, or have some idea of what was going on?

They say this has been some mighty weird weather. Look at the tornadoes not too far from you. Lots of tropical strength to the storms without them being hurricanes.
Be careful over there.
