Won't be at Capclave

I won't be at Capclave. wolfdancer tried to pull things together (after major car problems), but I missed her phone message, and no other rides miraculously appeared.

Could someone please tell Mike Walsh (head of the dealers' room) that I won't be there, then leave a comment here so that he won't have a steady stream of people telling him I won't be there?

I really regret not being at the con--it would have been nice to see my friends and maybe sell a few buttons.

If anyone wants to send me con reports and/or order buttons that'd be great.

Missed you and the buttons

I went by Capclave originally to see if there were people to hang out with, not intending to buy a membership, just to loll around in the lobby for awhile. Well, I ended up buying a one day membership for Saturday, went to late lunch with John, Jeanneane and Matthew, came back to the con, and proceeded to meet some new friends who have kids Matthew's age that he likes and who were looking for people to play games with :) I went into the hot tub with Greg and Diana and Tierry (a new friend), hung out with them while they ate dinner at Songbird (the food was good but the service was TERRIBLE). I'd eaten at P.F. Chang's at Tyson's for the first time with J, J9 and M earlier and enjoyed good food and good service.

I am so glad that I decided to get the membership and to stay after a lull in the con, because I would have missed meeting the new friends and playing two games of Settlers of Catan.

I'm really sorry that you weren't able to make it. I'm sure that you were missed by many other people besides me. I hope to see you at Darkover and Philcon.
