For various values of sanity:

Cook. Go for a walk. Teach Simba to search for treats (he already does). Teach Jenny to climb up on the piano and dance for treats (she already does.)
Play cello. Play fiddle. Spin. Knit. Watch something satirical that takes justice seriously -- such as Boston Legal. Sleep. Not watch the news. Not read daily newspapers or listen to radio news. Read things that make me happy. Paint. Draw. Take long baths.

And then get back in there and give 'em hell.
