But where are they going to find tomatoes without anti-oxidants?

The menu link on their site doesn't seem to work, but I don't get the impression they've thought about desserts yet. Ice cream deep-fried in lard?

Link thanks to The Agitator.

First of all, I want to thank you for this. I had an arguement over on another community from someone upset about her fries possibly being cooked in animal fat. My take is that it should be extremely easy to find out how your meal is prepared BUT if a business owner wanted to use animal fat to cook the fries in, they have that right, just as long as the customer can choose to walk away if they don't like it. I happen to think fries cooked in animal fat taste better but this girl was having none of it. My preference was oppressing her, because she didn't want fries cooked in animal fat. I try not to hang out in that particular community because it takes about 3 comments before I start sounding like a libertarian.

I'm wondering if the folks who run this restaurant have thought about a sister restaurant called BAD GIRLS, with a menu like this. How many times have you heard women in a restaurant saying things like "Oh, I think I'll BE BAD and order the fried chicken" which makes me feel like they must think I'm evil for eating what I like. For all the complaints about food, people end up eating this stuff.

There's an article in TIME this week about how bacon is making its way into desserts. You can even buy a bacon-chocolate bar. (And it turns out that it's a big seller, go figure.) That's too extreme for me, but it does suggest a way for this restaurant to have desserts.

They should re-think the lettuce issue, though. There's very little nutrition to be found in iceberg lettuce, and it adds a nice crunch to a burger.

I've tasted the bacon chocolate bar. It's surprisingly palatable.

The quadruple bypass burger is just too much food. I was actually a bit grossed out by it. I'm perfectly willing to chow down on decadent unvirtuous food, but only in moderation.

The Quadruple Bypass Burger seems to mostly be there for the idea of it-- most people who order them can't finish them.

I like the idea of a BAD GIRLS restaurant. I was trying to imagine a breaking the rules restaurant that caters comfortably to both sexes, but maybe that's not feasible.

I used to make chocolate chip cookies with dried cranberries and pieces of bacon in them. They were quite tasty, but no-one else in the house ever wanted to try any!

Probably the same people who willingly dunk their sausage into the maple syrup.

Hey, now *there's* a cookie: Maple Bacon. With orange peel.
