Jesus is my safeword

What do you think?

Addendum:The evidence adds up to the slogan being more offensive that what I want to carry.

It would open up a new market for you, although I don't know how big it is or whether they will admit this in public.

If you don't mind selling deliberately rude (I mean rude to a group of people, not rude as in "gross!") buttons you could do it. If you're going for funny, personally I think "My safeword is "OW!" is funnier. If it's being done as a riff off of "Jesus is my Copilot" it misses the mark, I think. It's not close enough for most people to twig on it quickly.

It brings to mind the exceedingly tacky but funny (well, to me, at least) joke:

"Why did Jesus die on the cross?"

"He forgot his safeword."

But not in an amusing way, just an association.

I like the button, although for practical purposes, it could be awkward to have as a safeword which someone is likely to blurt out involuntarily at an inopportune moment.

For me, that's a lot of what makes it funny.

Works on some levels.
My mind goes to a scene that I witnessed where a young lady was being flogged and in the middle of the scene she exclaimed "OMG, I forgot I have to teach Sunday School tomorrow, I won't be able to sit down!"
Hmmm, now I want one of the buttons just to be able to tell that story more......

I'm not easily offended. But this one does offend me.

Not my religion; I don't consider Jesus divine, or even of any significant importance.

And yet, it somehow manages to offend me.

I'm impressed.

Perhaps if you sold it as an accessory to the Baby Jesus Butt Plug...

I agree that it works on some leveks, but I think a lot of people will just go "Huh?" and most of the people who might like it don't attend the events you do, anyway.

All this discussion misses what I thought the point was. This slogan just seems like a pun to me.

Sorry
