Nobel Peace Prize officials were facing a formal inquiry over accusations they have drifted away from the prize’s original selection criteria by choosing such winners as President Barack Obama, as the nomination deadline for the 2012 awards closed Wednesday.
I think I would have viewed is as just another "interesting world we live in" piece, with a side order of "yeah, the peace prize isn't reliably about peace, nice someone noticed in a way which might make a difference", except that the calligraphy is good enough to be worth sharing.

Date: 2012-02-12 03:16 am (UTC)Giving is a close look, there's too much space after the 'har' in the second line, and there's enough wavering in the lines that I wonder if some semi-freehand method was used, or even if it was written entirely without guidelines.
I appreciate the openness and grace of the whole piece. What do you think of the overall effect?
