Arab/Moslem political pressure?

nancylebovI was listening to a BBC piece about the British terrorists, and I realized I haven't heard much of anything about Arab/Muslim lobbying in democratic countries. Is it just the media not getting around to an undramatic story that isn't part of the usual news, or don't they exist?
I have heard of the American Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee in the US, and a little talk about the Muslim vote in the 2004 Presidential election.
I realize that if my noble readership hasn't heard of Arab/Muslim pressure groups there still might be some, but some of you guys are news junkies or might be in them, so I have some hope.
