Obama and change

nancylebovI've found myself thinking that Obama would be good at rethinking what he was doing if it wasn't working, but when I checked I found that I didn't have any actual evidence one way or the other.
Anyone have examples of Obama making sensible changes based on evidence in what he was doing? I'm not sure that switching to campaigning against McCain is an example-- that one's a judgement call more than finding that what one was doing isn't working out.
